This is how our flight goes

Sustainability Report

2022

We are flying higher!

We ended a year that once again showed us how far we can go when we strengthen our alliances and work with the firm conviction of having a positive impact on the people who live in the main destinations we serve as an airline.

At Viva we set ourselves the challenge of being an increasingly diverse company that generates training opportunities and dignified employment, and we have achieved this through the Foundation via successful projects such as Viva sin Límites, support for the 360° model of Juanfe, training in sexual education to prevent early pregnancies, that we lead with Profamilia, humanitarian assistance to migrants and refugees that we offer in collaboration with UNHCR, the consolidation of productive patios through Vuelo al Campo and training in sustainable tourism for 25 Wayuu families in La Guajira.

2023 will be Fundación Viva’s fifth year of operations with the satisfaction of the achievements made and the firm conviction to continue working to contribute to the challenges we face as a society. Our yellow heart will continue to beat for social transformation.

Together we go further

Martha Elena Mogollón
Executive Director
Fundación Granitos de Paz
“The alliance with Fundación Viva has been vital to continue bringing sustainable development to new territories. With ‘Vuelo al Campo’ we generate social and productive inclusion for 36 families, 16 in the Atlantic and 20 in Cartagena. From the patios of their homes, converted in green gardens, we generate an environmental impact and, very soon, economic autonomy, thanks to the commercialization of their crops in hotels and restaurants”.
Alejandro Zapata

CEO
Portafolio Verde

“We have found in the Viva Foundation an ally, not only with sensitivity for biodiversity, but also an organization with determined actions on the issues of conservation of our ecosystems and the sustainability of the communities that inhabit them.

It is our founding ally of the Animal Bank and also a partner organization with which we can build sustainable development and work for the conservation of biodiversity”.

María Bibiana Botero

Executive President
Proantioquia

“In Proantioquia we choose to do magic with others, that is what we declare. In this purpose, Fundación Viva is a great partner with whom we walk this path. Its participation in our Social Value Committee, where other organizations are present, has allowed us to promote highly relevant social issues that are connected to the causes in which we believe and for which we work every day: gender equality and food security”.
